The Keeper of Memory
Journaling has always been a part of my life. As a child, I was first given a journal when I was barely old enough to write. I remember the journal had a picture of a unicorn on the front that I could color however I wanted. As time passes, my journals have continued to travel with me. Sometimes in bags, boxes, living on shelves, yet always available to glance at a moment in my life passed, an environment, a season. I wanted to commemorate that experience. The essence of saving moments on pages, of pressing flowers and leaves to enjoy and smell in another time, another place. This journal is a keeper of my memory, of my time, of my place in this world.
